16558 Bridge-end Pasture

The hill of Bridge-end Pasture is located in the Dark Peak area of the Peak District. It lies between Crook Hill and Rowlee Pasture, above the woodland slopes of Hagg Side. The hill is the only area of the Derwent Valley skyline that is used for pasture – the rest being peat open access moorland. It is normally accessed via the junction of footpaths between Bridge-end Pasture and Rowlee Pasture, or from the A57 via Crook Hill. It is one of the hills summited during the Derwent Valley Skyline walk
